Rosie's speech

When I walked up to the stage my legs were trembling and my mouth was scared I nearly fell but then some words came falling out and my qcards were nearly falling out of my sweaty hands when I saw the last qcard I was getting faster and faster and the first qcard was there again yay im finally finished I screamed in my head but then I realised I missed something out the exact words were poster look front bottom and sides when I relised that I might not be in the finals because of those words I missed oh no.

Jayas speech.

I felt sooo scared. my words got jumbled as I stuttered my mini peering at my Qcards. I flipped it over and got ready to say my speech...wait.. where was my first Qcard?! I snapped my mouth shut and sealed my lips. I finally spotted my Qcard I shuffled over and picked it up. I started my speech, "How many times do I have to tell people?! I called to nobody in particular. I paused shocked at the clear extremely confident voice that came out. I carried on but I got nervous, I peered at my Qcards even though I knew what to say. I hurried on and I thought that I was going too fast I stopped and tried to slow down I flipped through my cards and then looked at the new card I was finished because I was at the start. my head throbbed and the audience were silent. They did look a tiny bit interested. they started clapping I grinned and hurried back to my spot. I wasn't proud I was just glad to be done.

Jade. D's Netball speech

My speech was about netball. My three points were the Silver Ferns, Maria Tutaia and the Fast 5 netball series. I don't think I used enough expression and I spoke to fast. My speech was interesting, and well structured. Next time I would use more expression and change my speed.

Wow have you heard how many trophies Manchester United have won they have won a whopping 32 trophies if you haven't relised yet my speech is on Manchester United I will tell  you 3 things on Manchester United 1st the year they got created and where they are based in England greater Manchester in a city called old Trafford and got created in 1879 also Manchester uniteds nick name is the Red Devils I am also going to tell you a few kits over the years the 1894-1896 kit looked like southafricas rugby t-shirt there 1896-1902 kit was red and white since then it has been the same now to my 2nd point the leagues and cups they have played in the leagues they are in is the Barclays premier leauge they do the best in it as well because they have won it allot the cups they have played in is the uefa cup the fa cup and many more now to my third point there stadium there stadium called old Trafford was created by a man called Archibald litchis 1910 the main stand was covered with small shelters after the bombings of world war 2 the stadium was greatly destroyed after the stadium was reconstructed it was one of the hosting Venus for the 1966 World Cup shortly after the World Cup a new design led the stadium to be enlarged further during the mid nintes the stadium important series of transformations the main stand was reconstructed and new services such as private boxes a museum and the general quarter of Manchester United was added as well also sir mat dudsby memorable trainer of Man U also has a statue of him out side the stadium. The stadium also has a nick name called the theatre of dreams.        Today I have told you 3 things 1st where they are based and when they got created  the leagues and cups they are in and there stadium bye now I have to go and train to get in to Manchesterunted

Keeping Ourselves Safe...

We have been learning about how to keep ourselves safe through a programme run by the police.

We started by learning all about different emotions and different experiences that make us feel certain ways. When we feel scared, confused, angry or sad it is important to talk to a trusted adult about what is making us feel that way.

We also talked about the different things that make us special. Have a conversation with your child about what makes them special.
